Mrs. Gladys Mae Hickox
  Mrs. Gladys Mae Hickox, 73, of 508 Denton St., died Sunday, Sept. 3, 1989 at 
her residence.  Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 11 a.m., in 
the Coggins Funeral Home Chapel.
  The Rev. Mark Tatum officiated.  Interment was held in Whiloh (probably 
Shiloh) Cemetary in Wheeler County.
  Mrs. Hickox was a textile worker in the Weave Room.
  She was survived by two sons, Mr. Charlie W. Hickox of Barnesville and Mrs. 
(Mr.) Ottis I. Hickox of Dawson; brother, Mr. Lonnie McAlum of Buford; two 
sisters, Mrs. Editha Whited and Mrs. Leah Johnson both of Thomaston.  Six 
grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
