OBITUARIES:

Weldon F. Patterson

   (LAWRENCEVILLE, GA) Weldon F. Patterson, 34, of Lawrenceville, GA, died 
Monday, Sept. 17, 2001, at Gwinett Medical Center, Lawrenceville.

   Mr. Patterson was born in Detroit, MI, on Feb. 20, 1967, son of the Rev. 
William H. and Mattie R. Patterson.  He is survived by his parents; a sister, 
Micata Zachery; two grandmothers; and a host of aunts, great-aunts, uncles, 
great-uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

   Services were at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, Welch, on Friday, Sept. 
21, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Rodney K. Turner officiating.  Burial was in the 
church cemetery.

   Arrangements were by Silmon Seroyer Funeral Home, LaFayette.
