THURMOND, Mr. A. E. - age 52, of near Lawrenceville, passed away at his 
residence, Monday evening.  He is survived by his wife, Mr. A. E. Thurmond; 
four sons, Messrs. Preston, R. A., C. S. and Jack Thurmond; one daughter, Mrs. 
Lorene Bowen; five brothers, Messrs. Leon, Velon, Bryant, Terrel and Elco 
Thurmond; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Carter, Calhoun, Ga; Mrs. Elvie Rolston, 
Canton, Ga.; and three granchildren.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 
April 13, at 2 o'clock, from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, near 
Lawrenceville, Rev. Homer Swords officiating.  Interment, church cemetery.
