Me Pool (Isaac Mitchell "Mitch" Pool III) Dear Friend I take the present opertunity (opportunity) of writing you a few lines to let you know that I am tolable (tolerable). Well allso (also) your maw sis (Martha Strickland Pool). She is getting along tolable (tolerable). Well the rest of the family ar (are) all well. The trater (tractor) that you spoke of was not thar (there). I went to teh gallery and tha (they) said thar (there) was a man thar (there). I seen Mip Netty (?) as I came back and she said give you her best respects. We are having very fine wether (weather) here now for pulling fader (fodder) and ___.
