Thomas was born July 18, 1881 in Madison County, Georgia and Susan McCart was 
born November 13, 1891 in Gwinnett County, Georgia.   Thomas married Susan 
Elizabeth McCart on June 5, 1910 in Gwinnett County, Georgia.  Thomas and 
Susie had seven children; Dora MaeBelle, Infant Son (born and died in  June 
1915), Lillian Estelle, Thomas Ellis, Rose Lee, Joseph Reuben, and John 
David.  He and Susan lived next door to each other when Thomas was 19 and 
Susan was 9 .  He waited until Susan was 19 before he married her.  In the 
meantime he moved to Palatka, Florida in abt 1901 where he worked for the 
Wilson Cypress Mill.  He returned home in 1904 when his father John Robert 
died,  as he felt he needed to be near his mother to help her out.  After he 
was married they lived with his mother.  He lost his mother and his oldest son 
in the same year, 1915.   After his mother and son died he became a nomad and 
moved his family from place to place as indicated in "MaeBelle's Story".       
Thomas Lloyd had dark brown hair and blue eyes.  He died May 25th, 1953,  just 
months before the births of three of his grandchildren. Thomas and Susan are  
buried at Flagler Memorial Cemetary in Miami, Florida.
