June 2 - (Special.) - Among the June marriages of interest to the friends of both parties is that of Miss Mary Mitchell and Mr. George Wesley Clower, the marriage to take place on the 18th at the bride's mother's, Mrs. Martha Quilin Dobbins, near Duluth, Ga. Miss Mitchell is the only daughter of the late Major Thomas H. Mitchell, a well-known citizen of Gwinnett. She is one of the most popular young women of the county. Mr. Clower is a young business man of Lawrenceville and a junior member of the firm of Rutledge & Clower. The ceremony is to be performed by Dr. J. W. Quillian, presiding elder of Elberton circuit. Additional Comments: George Wesley Clower was born 17 March 1874 in Gwinnett Co., GA, the son of Daniel Morgan Clower and Sarah Jane Williams. He died 26 October 1940 in Gwinnett Co., GA Mary Eliza Mitchell Clower was born 12 November 1874 and died 6 December 1941 in Gwinnett Co. They are both buried at Shadowlawn Cemetery in Gwinnett Co.
