STATE OF GEORGIA

HABERSHAM COUNTY LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF MARGARET SOPHIA HUNTER

I, Margaret Sophia Hunter, of said state and county being of sound mind and 
memory do make this my last will and testament.

ITEM ONE. I give, bequeath and devise to my sister, Amanda J. Griggs, all of my 
real estate, consisting of a certain tract or parcel of land lying and ** fully 
described in a deed from S.W. Crawford and A.H. Terrell lying and being in said 
County to testator, said deed recorded in book " W", pages 245-6 in the office 
of the Clerk of the Superior Court of said County for and during her, the said 
Amanda, natural life and after her death remainder over to her children, to 
wit: Ida Rothel, John C. Griggs, and W.C. Griggs, and her grandchild, James, 
and the only surviving child of James A. Griggs, deceased.

Provided, however, should the said invalid child James, son of James A. Griggs, 
die before the age of 21 years, there in that event his interest, or part in 
said land herein disposed of and devised shall revert and go to the now living 
children of Amanda J. Griggs in fee share and share alike.

ITEM SECOND. I hereby appoint my brother-in-law, W.H. Griggs, Executor of this 
my last will and testament. This the thirty-first day of July, 1893.

Signed, declared, and published by Margaret Sophia Hunter as her last will and 
testament in the presence of us, the subscribers who subscribe (inadvertently 
omitted by transcriber) and we signing in her presence
