This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Donnie Pickard deemay@netusa1.net ==================================================================== Book N-572-573 January 14, 1836 William Disheroon} To } Ray Whitfield } Deed for 100 acres on Broad River waters Georgia } Habersham County} This indenture made this the fourteenth day of January in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty six between William Disheroon of the one part and Robert Whitfield of the other part witnesseth that the said William as aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and do by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Ray Whitfield part of a tract of land situate lying and being in said county on the waters of Broad River containing one hundred acres more or less granted unto Darius Echols on the fifth day of March eighteen hundred and twenty one beginning on a black oak corner on said tract made and known between the parties thence running a west course across said tract of land to a pine corner made and known between said parties thence taking such lines & course as shall appear by the original place. To have and to hold said tract or parcel of land with all and singular the rights number and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said tract of land belonging or ___ wise appertaining to the only proper use benefit and behood of him the said Ray Whitfield his heirs and assigns & administrators & and the said William as aforesaid for himself his heirs and assigns will warrant the same tract of land against the right title or claims of himself his heirs and assigns and against of all other persons whatsoever unto the said Ray Whitfield his heirs and assigns for ever in fee simple.
