Jenkins of the one part and John C. Jenkins of the other part both of the State and County aforesaid. Witnesseth that the said William E. Jenkins for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty five dollars to him in hand paid by the said John C. Jenkins at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted sold and conveyed and does by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto him the said John C. Jenkins his heirs and assigns all that lot tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in Eleventh District of said County known and distinguished in the plan of said district as Lot or part of Lot of land Number one hundred and forty five containing one hundred and thirty five acres more or less also thirty five acres more or less also part of lot of land Number one hundred and fifty six in the Eleventh district of said County containing twenty eight acres more or less all the above lands more or less more fully described in a plat of survey made by James J. Chitwood on the twenty eighth day of December in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and seventy one hereunto attached to have and to hold unto him the said John C. Jenkins his heirs and assigns the said bargain lot of land and premises together with all and singular the rights members appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging or in any wise thereunto appertaining and ever thereof unto him the said John C. Jenkins his heirs assigns to his and their proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. And the said William E. Jenkins for himself his heirs executors and Administrators the bargain and conveyed lot of land and premises untio him the said John C. Jenkins his heirs and assigns will and shall by these presents warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claims of all other persons whatever.
