Jenkins (Map shown) Georgia } Habersham County } This Indenture made and entered into this the fourth day of October in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty six between Ezekiel Fuller of the one part and John C. Jenkins of the other part both of the State and County above mentioned. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the two?(amount written in the fold) hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the Sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged both bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell, convey and confirm unto the Said John C. Jenkins his heirs and assigns a tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the Third district of the County of Habersham and State of Georgia known and distinguished in the plan of Said district a portion of Lots Nos. (176 & 177)one hundred and seventy six and one hundred and seventy seven Beginning at a White Oak on the East line of Said lots running north 81 degrees 20 chains to a stake, thence 9 degrees W 25 chains to a Pine, thence East 25 chains to a Red Oak, thence North 30 chains to the beginning containing sixty one and three fourth acres more or less. The said John C. Jenkins to have and to hold the above described lot or parcel of land together with all & singular the rights members and appurtenances to their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. And the Said Ezekiel Fuller for himself his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the rights and titles of the above described lot or parcel of Land against him and themselves and against all and every other person lawfully claiming the same.
