Jenkins of the one part and D. N. Sosebee of the other part, both of the State and County above mentioned, Witnesseth that for and in consideration of sum of three hundred and twenty five dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said D. N. Sosebee his heirs and assigns a tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the Third Dist a portion of lots No. (176 & 177) one hundred and seventy six, and one hundred and seventy seven, beginning at the White Oak on the East line of said Lots running North 81 degrees West 20 ch to a stake, thence south 9 deg. W 25 chains to a pine, thence E 20 chains to a Red Oak, thence North 30 chains to the beginning corner containing sixty one and three fourth acres, more or less; the said D. N. Sosebee to have and hold the above described Lots or parcels of land together with all and singular the right members and appurtenances to their own use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. And the said John C. Jenkins for himself his heirs, excecutors and administrators and against himself his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the rights and titles of the above described lots or parcels of land against himself and against the claims of all other persons whomsoever.
