Congressman Habersham's February 17, 1840 letter returning the amended papers 
to the Pension Office.

Commissioner of Pensions

Sir,
     I have the honor to enclose herewith the papers of Daniel McCollum which 
were lately submitted to you and returned as defective.  Such declarations 
have been made as were practicable under the peculiar circumstances in which 
Mr. McCollum is placed and I hope the certificates will now prove satisfactory.
