John Fowler, of Rabun county, who has been serving a life sentence for murder, and who has served ten years, had his sentence commuted to present service. He is in bad health and has a wife and family living. The sentence of Pink Dill, of Habersham county, who was sent up for ten years for voluntary manslaughter in 1898, was commuted to present service. Ab Elder, of Habersham county, who was given an twelve-months sentence for riot, had his sentence commuted to the payment of costs. Executive clemency was refused Mary Dido, of Fulton county, who was sentenced to pay $50 or serve six months for keeping a disorderly house.
