MORTUARY.

Baldwin, Ga., June 20-
G. C. Baker, aged 63, a prominent fruit-grower of this place, died at his home 
yesterday evening at 8 o'clock after a brief illness.  On Thursday of last week 
he became overheated in the harvest fields, which caused a slight paralysis, 
from which he died.  He leaves a wife and six children.  Baldwin Lodge of Odd 
Fellows will conduct burial rites at the local cemetery this afternoon at 4 
o'clock.  Rev. J. L. Green, of the Christian church, will conduct the funeral 
services.
