The Rev. George Tubbs will officiate, with burial in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, Lula. Mrs. Ambrose died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003, at her residence. Born in Jackson County on Nov. 18, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Magnolia and Manual Streetman. Mrs. Ambrose was a homemaker and a member of Homer Alliance Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Ambrose. Survivors include her sons, William Nation of Homer, Jimmy Truelove of Cornelia; daughters, Elain Dixon of East Dublin, Ethel Gosnell of Homer, Pat Hansley of Athens, Dorothy Wilkerson of MacClenny, Fla.; sister, Lillian Robinson of Douglasville; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Little Ward Funeral Home of Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
