Boyd Ivie

CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. � Inurnment for Boyd Ivie, 86, of Cathedral
City, Calif., was held at Tranquility Falls Palm Springs Mausoleum.

Mr. Ivie died Jan. 4, 2003.

Born on Nov. 22, 1916, he was the son of Bayless E. and Maude B.
Caudell Ivie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Lee Dodd.
Mr. Ivie was a heavy equipment mechanic for 28 years. He was a U.S.
Navy veteran, serving from 1944 to 1945.

Survivors include his son, James Ivie of Cathedral City, Calif.;
three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Eugenia Brown
of Cornelia; and numerous relatives.

Palm Springs Mortuary of Cathedral City, Calif., was in charge of 
arrangements.
