Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Clough Ellison

Funeral services for Elizabeth “Liz” Clough Ellison, 36, of Mt. Airy will be 
held at 4 p.m. today, Jan. 31, in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart 
Funeral Home. The Rev. J.R. Elrod will officiate, with burial in Hazel Creek 
Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Ellison died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003.

Born in Stafford County, Va., on Oct. 10, 1966, she was the daughter of the 
late Leon Melvin Clough Jr. Mrs. Ellison was the front-end manager of Ingles 
in Clarkesville. She was of the Baptist faith and loved computers and 
crafts.

Survivors include her daughter, Krystal Kinsell of Ellenton, Fla.; son, Josh 
Kinsell of Mt. Airy; mother and stepfather, Carol and John Franklin of 
Murphy, N.C.; brother, Leon Melvin Clough III of Orlando, Fla.; and aunts 
and uncles.

McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home, Cornelia, is in charge of
