Ellis ‘Benny’ Roach

No services for Ellis “Benny” Roach, 60, of Cornelia are planned, according 
to his wishes.

Mr. Roach died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003, at a private healthcare facility in 
Comer following an extended illness.

Born in Habersham County on March 31, 1942, he was a painter and of the 
Baptist faith. Mr. Roach was preceded in death by his father, Clemson Roach; 
and brothers, Tommy Roach and Sam Roach.

Survivors include his mother, Leathey Shirley Roach of Cleveland; and 
sister-in-law, Diane Alexander Roach of Cleveland.

McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home of Cornelia is in charge of 
arrangements.
