MORTUARY.
Clarkesville, Ga., September 29-
Zachariah Forester, a civil war veteran, and probably the oldest man in the 
county, died at his home in Clarkesville Wednesday night at the advanced age of 
92.  He was born about 1 mile from town and lived his entire life in and around 
Clarkesville.  He is survived by his wife and one daughter.  He was a member of 
Company A, Fifty-second Georgia regiment.

Additional Comments:
Pension records indicate a birth date for Zachariah Forester of April 6, 1823, 
in Habersham county.
