Habersham Official Passes Away in 59th Year. Clarkesville, Ga., January 3- Sheriff Parul F. Grant, for seven years at different times Habersham county's sheriff and former holder of other offices of trust in this county, died Friday night at 7:35 o'clock, the result of a three weeks' illness of typhoid- pneumonia and complications. Mr. Grant had not been feeling well for some weeks, but had been attending to his duties as sheriff. He was a man well thought of by all classes and was a power in a political fight because of his general popularity. He had reached his fifty-ninth year and is survived by a widow, one married daughter, Mrs. E. E. Loudermilk, and several brothers. The funeral and internment will take place at Level Grove church and cemetery, near Cornelia, in this county, at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
