Jeff Sims 

Funeral services for Jeff Sims, 41, of Clarkesville were held at 2
p.m. Monday, July 8, at Hillside Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Furman
Lewis officiated with burial in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Mr. Sims died Friday, July 5, 2002, at Habersham County Medical
Center. 

Born in Habersham County on Feb. 7, 1961, he was a member of
Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mr. Sims was a carpenter. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bronez Parker Sims;
grandparents, True and Mary Lou Parker, Hamp and Lucy Sims. 

Survivors include his father, Boyd Sims of Clarkesville; daughters,
Jennifer Sims Burdette of Toccoa, Melissa Sims of Clarkesville; son,
Jeffrey Parker Sims Jr. of Clarkesville; sisters, Debby Harris of
Highpoint, N.C., Kay Norton of Gainesville; grandson, Levi Burdette
of Toccoa. 

Hillside Memorial Chapel, Clarkesville, was in charge of
arrangements.
