All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************** Katherine Foster Forester Funeral services for Katherine Foster Forester, 84, of Cornelia will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel. Dr. T. Logan Smith, Chaplain Bron Forester and the Rev. Gene Poole officiating with burial in Level Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Forester died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, at her son’s residence following an extended illness. Born in Habersham County on March 31, 1918, she was the daughter of the late H.C. and Kitty Berrong Foster. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Moss Forester. Mrs. Forester was the owner of Stylorama Beauty Salon for 26 years and was also the owner of a cloth shop in Cornelia for a number of years. Mrs. Forester was a member of the Cornelia First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the 3L Sunday school class and the WMU. She was the founder of the Laotian ministry at the church and was associated with several other church missions. Mrs. Forester was involved with the R.A.s, the G.A.s, Vacation Bible School, the Helping Hands and had served as a Sunday school teacher. Survivors include her daughter, Eloise Cirelli of Pescaya, Italy; sons, retired Cmdr. O. Bron Forester of Virginia Beach, Va., Cliff Forester of Cornelia; sister, Allie Ree Webster of Cleveland; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
