Obituary 

Mae Leonard Loudermilk 

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. , at McGahee-
Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Mae Leonard
Mae Loudermilk, 86, of Cornelia. 

The Rev. Tony Evans, the Rev. Billy Burrell and the Rev.
Eddie Herring will officiate. Burial will be in Camp Creek
Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family received friends Monday night at the funeral
home. 

Mrs. Loudermilk died Sunday, May 2, 2004, at her residence
following an extended illness. 

Born in White County on April 19, 1918, Mrs. Loudermilk was
retired from Chicopee after 32 years of service as an
inspector. She was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church and
an avid gardener who also enjoyed working with ceramics. She
was preceded in death by her husband, William A. "Sam"
Loudermilk; and several brothers and sisters. 

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and
Jimmy Tallent, Blairsville; grandson, Jamie Tallent;
granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Jana and Danny Hemphill;
and great-grandchildren, Kanon and Kaston Hemphill. 

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to First
United Methodist Church in Union, c/o Prayer Pages, 859
Highway 515, Blairsville, GA 30512.
