OBITUARY OF VERDELL MEALOR

TOCCOA	 - Verdell Mealor, 51, of Mathison Street, died Saturday in an Atlanta 
hospital. 

The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-
Davis Funeral Home.  The Revs. Melvin Timms and Russell Newell will 
officiate.  Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Louise Gosland of Greenville, SC, Mrs. 
Carolyn Darnell of Slater, SC, Miss Brenda and Miss Linda Mealor or Toccoa; 
five sons, Joe Dan Mealor of Six Mile, Sc, Dwain Mealor of Travelers Rest, SC, 
Sammy Mealor of Mariette, SC, Roy Lee Mealor and James Richard Mealor of 
Slater, SC; two brothers, Lewis Mealor and R. C. Mealor of Toccoa; seven 
sisters, Mrs. Lucille Flanigan, Mrs. Grace Powers, Mrs. Alma Camp, Mrs. Bernie 
Davis, all of Toccoa; Mrs. Velma Bramblett of Chamblee, Mrs. Ellie Witmire of 
Greenville, SC; 10 grandchildren; his step-mother, Mrs. Mary Mealor of Toccoa.
