The Rev. Dean Bryant and Mike Robertson officiated with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Wade died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a short illness. Born in Hall County on Feb. 26, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Garnett and Pearl Eberhart McMillan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dupree Crawford Sr.; and brothers, Jimmy McMillan, Ralph McMillan, Clyde McMillan. Mrs. Wade was a homemaker and a member of Timberidge Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Betty Woodall of Murrayville, Martha Pearl Crawford of Cornelia; daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda and Hugh Lee Bennett of Gainesville, Roger and Mary Tanksley of Cornelia, Becky and Carroll Andrews of Baldwin; son, William Gary Crawford of Baldwin; sons and daughters-in-law, Grady G. and Runnell Crawford of Marietta, Rodger and Dianne Crawford of Gainesville, Dupree Jr. and Sharon Crawford of Alto, Michael and Linda Crawford of Cornelia, Spot and Libby Crawford of Cornelia, Edward L. and Brenda L. Crawford of Baldwin; 25 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, was in charge of arrangements.
