The Rev. Edwin Smith, the Rev. James Duncan and the Rev. Woodrow Hix will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Meaders died Saturday, July 6, 2002, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Hall County on July 15, 1944, she was once a member of the Duncan Sisters and was employed by Ethicon. She was a member of Living Mission United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Herman Duncan; and sister, Erie Wade. Survivors include her mother, Dolly Saxon Duncan of Lula; daughter, Melissa Chapman of Cleveland; son, Craig Meaders of Alto; sisters, Jeanette Crocker of Lula, Carol Wade of Alto; brothers, Broadus Duncan of Gainesville, the Rev. James Duncan of Homer; and four grandchildren. Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, is in charge of arrangements.
