MORTUARY.

Mount Airy, Ga., April 19-
Burgess Smith, 70 years of age, died at his home near Mount Airy Sunday at 9 
o'clock a.m.  He served in the confederate Army, and for many years was 
surveyor of Habersham county.  The deceased was a leading member of the Masonic 
order.  He is survivied by five children and many grandchildren.  Interment was 
held at Hazel Creek church at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon.
