Mount Airy, Ga., April 8-
The funeral of Davis Smith, who died Wednesday at his home near Mount Airy, was 
conducted by R. A. Saunders Thursday at 2 o'clock.  The remains were interred 
at Eastview cemetery.  Mr. Smith was a prominent merchant of Macon for thirty 
years and was a resident of Mount Airy for twenty years.  He was 78 years of 
age.
