The Rev. Furman Lewis and the Rev. George Deadwyler will officiate with burial in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Hill died Monday, June 17, 2002, at Wayne County Memorial Hospital, Jesup, following an extended illness. Born in Habersham County on March 22, 1907, he was a son of the late Jeff and Mollie Kimsey Hill. He was a member of Attica Baptist Church, and was retired from Fieldale Farms. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Ford Hill; daughters, Betty Hunsinger, Doris Porterfield; and grandchildren, Tim English, Mark Porterfield and Wanda Porterfield. Survivors include his daughters, Vivian English of Demorest, Dupree Groover of Ludowici, Agnes Chastain of Talking Rock; sons, William Noah Hill Jr. of Demorest, Thomas Hill of Demorest; brother, Ernest Hill of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great- grandchildren. Hillside Memorial Chapel, Clarkesville, is in charge of arrangements.
