To get to Sardis Cemetery, travel westwardly out of Gainesville, GA
on state road 53 - dawsonville Highway. Turn right onto Sardis Road
(2900 block).  At the semmingly dead end, follow Sardis road to the right.
Turn left at about 1/2 mile.  Sardis Cemetery is on the left and up the
hill in front of the church. The burial sites on the left (being the
west end of the cemetery) are thought to have been moved to the site in
the 1950's with the building of Buford Dam and Lake Lanier.
