Dr. H. S. Bradley, pastor of the Methodist church at this place, died of peritonitis this morning and will be buried in Gainesville tomorrow. The remains left here at 6 o'clock this evening. Dr. Bradley has been preaching only about fifteen years, although he was fifty-six years old at his death. The early part of his life was spent in Gainesville, where he was a very prominent physician. Dr. Bradley was one of the best known and one of the ablest ministers on the north Georgia conference. He has been ill only a short time and his death will be a shock to the entire community. Dr. Bradley Buried. His Funeral at Gainesville Was Largely Attended Yesterday. Gainesville, Ga., October 18- All that was mortal of Rev. Henry S. Bradley, Sr., of Washington, Ga., was deposited in Alta Vista cemetery here at 3 o'clock today. Dr. Bradley in years past was a prominent citizen of Gainesville and a noted physician and surgeon. He has a drug store here for years and at one time was mayor of the city. Up to about fifteen years ago he was a worldly man, but the death of his favorite son, Charley, in 1878, changed the current of his life and from that time he has engaged in preaching the everlasting gospel. He was a member of the north Georgia conference and was a preacher of force and power. He was stationed at Washington, GA. He had many friends in this section of the state.
