An Old Man Dies suddenly at His Home Yesterday Afternoon. Mr. John Bramlett, an aged gentleman seventy-two years of age, died suddenly at his home on Marietta street yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock. He was apparently well during the early part of the say, and no one heard him complain in any way. His death, therefore, will be a great surprise to his many friends throughout the city. Mr. Bramlett came to the city a short while ago from Gainesville, and since that time, has run a little market on Marietta street. He was well thought of by all who knew him, and for an old man was characterized by unusual activity. He believed in working, and thought when a man was too old to be useful it was time for him to leave the world. He died in harness, therefore, and death, when it came, found him at his post of duty. An inquest, which was held yesterday afternoon, resulted in the finding of a verdict to the effect that Mr. Bramlett had come to his death through rheumatism of the heart. The body was taken to Patten's underaking establishment yesterday afternoon, and will remain there until arrival of his friends from Gainesville. The arrangements for the funeral have not yet been completed.
