MORTUARY.

Gainesville, Ga., August 8-
The death of Rev. A. W. Caldwell occurred here this morning at 5 o'clock.  Mr. 
Caldwell was one of the pioneer settlers of Gainesville, having moved here in 
1823, and had been continuously connected with the growth of Gainesville since 
that time.  Mr. Calwell had reached the age of 88 years, and was known 
throughout this section as a very consecrated Christian minister.
