B. Clark, Prominent Georgian, Dies in Washington. News was received in Atlanta last night of the death in Washington Wednesday of Colonel Rufus Brown Clark, U. S. A., of Gainesville, Ga., cousin of Colonel E. T. Brown and Walter R. Brown, of Atlanta. Colonel Clark is survived by his wife, who was Rosa Lowry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George P. Lowry, of 38 Peachtree circle, and sister of Captain Edward I. Lowry, formerly attache to the American embassy in London, now on special mission to France. The deceased had been in the regular army for many years and was a veteran of the Spanish-American war. He had been in failing health since Christmas and his death followed an operation. Until his last illness he held a position of special responsibility in Washington. The interment will take place at Gainesville Sunday afternoon.
