The Gainesville News- February 28 1940

Fate B Edwards, 45, textile worker, died Monday night in the Hall County 
Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness with pneumonia.

He was born in White County, but was employed in the Gainesville Mills where 
he was a member of the Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held at 3;30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the 
Methodist Church, and interment was in Alta Vista cemetery.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, J. B. Edwards, of 
Gainesville and a brother, Arthur Edwards of Clermont.
