W. F. Findley, Gainesville, Ga. Gainesville, Ga., May 26 – (Special) – Colonel William F. Findley, a well-known lawyer of this city, died at 2 o’clock this afternoon. He was an ex-mayor of Gainesville, and was last year an alternate elector from the state at large to the national democratic convention. He always took an active part in politics. Colonel Findley is survived by his wife and one son, Charles H. Findley, of Savannah, chief clerk in the freight claim department of the Central railway. No arrangements for the funeral will be made until the arrival of his son from Savannah. Colonel Findley was 58 years old.
