Gainesville, Ga., June 30-
J. Pierpont Flanders died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M. C. Brown, in 
this city, at 11:20 o'clock last night of heart trouble.  He had been in ill 
health for several years and had to give up business some time ago on this 
account.  Mr. Flanders was 56 years old, and was born in Poughkeepsie, N. Y., 
where he lived for many years.  He later removed to Macon, Ga., and came from 
the latter place to Gainesville last February.
He is survived by his wife and daughter.
