Lula- Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. tomorrow (March 8) from Lula 
Baptist Church for H.A. Garner, 87, Lula.
The Rev. Dan Bremer and Walton M. McNeal will officiate, and interment will be 
in Lula Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home until funeral hour.
Mr. Garner died yesterday (March 6) in a private convalescent home following an 
extended illness.
He was a lifetime resident of Hall county and had lived in Lula for 58 years. 
He was a retired farmer and a member of Lula Baptist Church.
Surviving are his daughters, Mrs. Charlie Thompson, Lula, Mrs. Harry Davis, 
Atlanta, Mrs. Luther Thompson, Lula; one sister, Mrs. Howard Lathem, Decatur; 
eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great- greatgrandchild.
Ward's Funeral Home of Gainesville is in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Henry Alexander Garner is buried side by side of wife, Amanda Margaret Rogers 
Garner at Westview cemetery, Lula, Ga.
