Monroe, Ga., March 14- E. J. Harden, aged 60 years, of Gainesville, cotton agent for Cooper & Griffin, of Greenville, S. C., died suddenly at the Walton hotel, in this city, this morning. Mr. Harden was here on business for his firm and spent a good portion of the morning at work. About 9:00 o'clock he was seized with an attack of indigestion and went to a local drug store, where a physician prescribed for him. The physician accompanied him to the hotel and endeavored to relieve him. Some minutes later the stricken man appeared to be better and talked freely with the physician, but a little later he suddenly became worse and expired. The cause of death was heart trouble. Mr. Harden is survived by a wife and five children. The remains were carried to Gainesville Tuesday afternoon.
