MORTUARY.

George Johnson, Gainesville.
Gainesville, Ga., June 6-
George Johnson died suddenly about noon today.  He had just returned from the 
field where he was overseeing work, and entered the house when he fell.  He was 
a prominent and much respected man and lived several miles west of the city.  
He was the father of Col. William M. Johnson, of Gainesville, and leaves other 
children.  The funeral will occur tomorrow, with Masonic honors, at Sardis 
church.
