Death of Captain Lathem.
Gainesville, GA., February 10-
Mr. G. W. Lathem, a prominent citizen of this county, died at his home a few 
miles from this place yesterday after an illness of three days.
He was about  fifty years of age and had for years been one of the 
commissioners of Hall county.
The internment will take place tomorrow at Antioch church and every man in Hall 
county who can go will be present to pay a tribute of respect and affection to 
his memory.
He was a Mason and a captain in the confederate service.
