Robert Henry Parks of Lyman Drive, died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday at the age of 76. Funeral sevices will be held at 2:30 pm Friday at Corinth Baptist Church. The Rev. Claud Hood and Rev. Henry Warren officiated and burial was in the churchyard. A dairyman by profession, Mr. Parks had been a member of Corinth Baptist Church for 20 years. He was a Mason. Surviving are five sons, C.W., F.O., Edwin, and Egbert Parks, all of Gainesville, and Earl Parks of Dawsonville; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Harbin, of Anniston, Al., and Mrs. H.A. Clark of Gainesville; two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Burts of Dawsonville and Mrs. Thad Pirkle of Atlanta; two brothers, Walton Parks of Stark, FL and Watson Parks of TN; 29 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
