MORTUARY.

Stephen M. Reed.
Gainesville, Ga., January 22-
Stephen M. Reed, a well-known citizen of the lower part of the county, was 
found dead in bed by his wife at aboout midnight last night.  He had been 
suffering from dropsy for some time and his death was due to natural causes.  
Mr. Reed was 56 years old and is survived by his wife and six children.  He was 
a member of the well-known family of Hall county Reeds and lived at the old 
Canning place, 1 mile south of Flowery Branch.  The funeral and interment will 
occur at Poplar Springs church tomorrow morning, conducted by Rev. George R. 
Brown.
