MORTUARY.

Gainesville, Ga., July 9-
Mrs. Mary Sanders died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. C. Sanders, at 6:30 
p.m. Monday at the advanced age of 77.  She had been  in delicate health and 
almost totally blind for several years, having suffered a stroke of paralysis 
some time ago.  Mrs. Sanders was born near Americus, Ga., and was first married 
to Dr. Scarborough, of Lee county.  One child, Fannie, who was married to 
Colonel C. C. Sanders, of Gainesville, resulted from this union.  After the 
death of her first husband, she married Dr. M. D. Sanders, of Smithville, whose 
youngest son, Colonel C. C. Sanders, became the husband of her only daughter.  
The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 8:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. O. 
J. Copeland.
