COL. C. C. SAUNDERS [sic] IS DEAD.

Gainesville, Ga., August 3-
Colonel C. C. Saunders, president of the State Banking Company, and one of the 
leading business men of northwest Georgia, died at 4:45 o'clock this afternoon 
after a two weeks' illness.  He was a colonel of the Twenty-fourth regiment, 
and was an honored citizen.  His wife and two children survive him.  Funeral 
and internment occur here tomorrow.
