Florine Garner "Tee" Thompson

Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm Wed. Oct. 27, 1999, at Lula United 
Methodist Church for Florine Garner "Tee" Thompson, 93, of 5913 Chattahoochee 
St., Lula.  The Rev. Fletcher Law and the Rev. Paul Morris will officiate. 
Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Lula. The family received friends Tues. at 
the funeral home.  Mrs. Thompson died Tues. Oct. 26, 1999 at her residence 
following an extended illness.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Hall Co., where she lived all her life. She was the 
daughter of the late Henry Alexander Garner and Amanda Margaret Rogers Garner. 
She graduated from Lee Institute in Lula in 1921 and attended state normal 
schools and worked for Ford Motor Co., Gainesville. She was a homemaker and a 
beloved Mother. She was a member of Lula United Methodist Church since 1946. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Master Sgt. Luther Thompson; son, 
Ronald Thomas Cagle; sisters, Winnie Lee Garner Thompson and Saphronia Pauline 
Garner Davis; brothers, both died in infancy, H.A. and Lee Rogers Garner.
Survivors include a son, a daughter, six grandchildren, a step-granddaughter,
And several great-grandchildren.
