Gainesville, Ga., July 6-
Colonel James M. Towery, one of the best known lawyers in Gainesville, died at 
his home here after a short illness, at an early hour this morning.  He is 
survived by his wife and several children.  The funeral was held this afternoon 
at 4 o'clock and the interment was at Alta Vista cemetery.
