ELIZA F. WILSON died at her home on Chestnut Street, Gainesville, late Sunday following a long illness. Mrs. Wilson was 81 years of age, a member of the Baptist Church, and one of Gainesville's most beloved women. She was the widow of Jacob Samuel Wilson. Surviving Mrs. Wilson are 3 daughters, Miss Addie Wilson of Gainesville, Mrs. I. D. Hudgins of Decatur and Mrs. D. D. Dixon of Rock Springs, TX; 3 sons, W. O. Wilson of Newberry, SC, J. D. Wilson of Monroe, GA, and Rev. J. G. Wilson of Ninety-Six, SC. Funeral services were held at Oak Grove church Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock with Rev. A. F. Smith, pastor of Central Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in the churchyard. Newton & Barron Co., funeral directors, in charge.
