Carter-Stephens.
Invitations have been received in the city to the marriage of Miss Irene 
Carter, of Gainesville, and Rev. S. Emmett Stephens, the wedding to take place 
on the 17th of the month.
Miss Carter, who is an attractive, graceful brunete, is the daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. John Carter, and has a number of friends in Atlanta, where she visits 
quite often.
Rev. Mr. Stephens is a minister of the Baptist church in Gainesville and is an 
able and popular young divine.
