E. Sanford, their cousins at this place, this week. Dr. Russell is of Dallas, Texas, and his wife, a Miss Woodliff, is of Gadsden, Ala. The bride's parents objected to their marriage, and, as "love laughs at locksmith," they arranged a meeting at Flowery Branch, Ga., where they were duly made husband and wife on the 11th inst. They had never met until at Flowery Branch--the courtship having been carried on wholly by correspondence. Since their marriage the "old folks at home" have signified their approval and the happy pair have gone to Gadsden to pay their parents a visit before leaving for Texas. May they find the journey they have undertaken to be a most pleasant, happy and prosperous one is the wish of the Advance and its readers.
